Erhardt + Leimer unveils missing label detector

Erhardt + Leimer launched a vision camera-based missing label detection system at Labelexpo Americas 2012.

The new Elcam missing label detection system allows label printers to avoid waste and to increase the quality of their label production process. The system is said to be easy to install, easy to use and robust in operation, while quick job setup times will increase productivity.

The system consists of the smart vision camera Elcam in combination with LED light sources, a small controller to handle stop signals for the production process if needed, and a touch screen panel with an intuitive user interface.
