FLEXcon announces new GHS compliant products

These products feature a new gloss topcoat and a choice of two permanent adhesives, and a lay-flat liner. The DRUMcal products utilize gloss TC-274, which provides image quality, durability and chemical resistance. In addition, the products utilize a 74 lb. clay-coated release liner that yields excellent lay-flat properties, regardless of ambient temperatures. The products also have excellent tracking through laser printers and are easily to die cut. The products are designed for sheet-form and roll-form laser printing and can be used on steel, plastic and fiber drums.

FLEXcon’s extensive line of DRUMcal vinyl, polypropylene and polyester products is designed to meet the rigorous demands of hazardous container labeling, and complies with the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) requirements for hazardous communication.

‘The petroleum and chemical drum labeling industry faces unique challenges with GHS compliance requirements,’ said Brian Ayers, market development specialist for FLEXcon. ‘As we continue to allow our printer and converter audience to better meet GHS standards with confidence and ease, we are pleased to announce continued advancements in our DRUMcal products.’
