Herma targeting no-label look with new self-adhesive construction

Herma has launched a self-adhesive label material to suit the demands of those looking to create a no-label appearance, with the multi-layer adhesive 62Gpt applied to its PP 50 transparent film (grade 885).

The supplier said the product enables the no-label look to be achieved even if the label has to offer fast and strong tack, and whenever food regulations need to be considered. Herma PP 50 transparent film (grade 885) features special surface treatment intended to deliver good print quality with all conventional printing techniques.  The release liner is a 30-micon PET film

In combination, the two constituents produce visually very appealing, glossy labels, Herma said, adding that using this new transparent stock means label printers can cover a broad range of applications and reduce their inventories of special materials.
