Imprint to unveil eVolution MIS software

In its first public showing, Imprint Business Systems Ltd will unveil its new eVolution MIS, one of the first Management Information Systems to be compliant with the EC Disability Directive, at PIRA MIS 2007. Each module boasts additional features, a clean modern look and intuitive navigation.
Nick Bourne, managing director, is delighted with the result: ‘We have always worked in partnership with our clients, developing the software and eVolution is the result of listening to our customers and giving them increased functionality with a modern look and lightening fast navigation. eVolution gave us the opportunity to analyze the customer feedback and continue the vital development of the Imprint MIS to ensure we continue to improve all aspects of the product.’ Built-in CRM and ‘information’ cockpit gives fingertip access to real time KPI’s and data.
Also showing at MIS 2007 will be Imprint’s WebDesk software. While initially developed for commercial print, WebDesk can now be utilized in all sectors of the printing industry including labels, business forms, flexible packaging and folding cartons.
WebDesk permits users to fully utilize their websites to facilitate order placement and includes a storefront approach to streamlining the ordering process with CRM, customer portal, on-line ordering and on-line PDF module that allows template based variable data PDF creation and proofing with onward integration to order and workflow. The customer portal can be configured to give specific customers access to a range of options such as on-line ordering, job/order status, job/product archive, request for quotation, on-line proofing, messaging, and a range of queries and reports, all available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Amongst the many features of the WebDesk Suite is secure, tailored access to a range of MIS functions and other services for both customers and internal staff via the internet.
Each module is standalone and can be purchased separately depending on need and any combination can be integrated together. The company is also working with third party vendors to give customers a range of choices dependent on functionality and budget. While designed to dovetail with Imprint’s eVolution software, WebDesk can also be integrated with most other existing MIS systems as a standalone tool.
Imprint will also show the next generation of its eXpert estimating and production control software, live viewing of the entire production process, automated alerting and integrated sales and marketing as well as e-commerce trading.
Upgrades include a new software tool for estimating that can also be web-based to allow salesmen and/or trusted customers to get virtually instant estimates. The software caters for sheet, web and digital equipment. At the click of a button eVolution will also work out from the printing plant’s current factory loading the earliest convenient delivery date.
Imprint’s eVolution CRM has also benefited by new refinements and is a fully integrated part of its MIS, controlling the sales and marketing function and featuring contact management, diary control and easy access to the total customer history. Simple and comprehensive feedback keeps management informed not only of activity but also of inactivity and remote on-line access gives the same functionality when out of the office.
