At Labelexpo Europe on stand 7K40, Werner Kammann Maschinenfabrik will display its K 61-OS flat screen printing station. The company reports it has increased the station’s output by 20 percent – from 30 m/min to 36 m/min.

The new printing machine with continuous web transport is still equipped with cylinder screen printing stations using ordinary flat screens.

Kammann roll-to-roll printing machines, as well as being used for label production, are increasingly being used for printed electronics applications, such as RFID antennae, flexible batteries or bio sensors, says the company. Kammann has developed an effective drying oven for these special conductive printing materials.

The Kammann K 61-OS is designed with a modular construction. Each module is equipped with its own electrical control with servo motors. This construction allows each user a customized machine configuration with optional converting stations for waterless offset print, hot and cold foil stamping, laminating, embossing/debossing, rotary die-cutting, lacquering by flexo print, and more.
