Mactac adds removable options to laser label products

Mactac Printing Products has added two new removable products to its Maccopy line of laser printable label products: Maccopy standard removable (LAS5112) and Maccopy semi gloss removable (NS5112).

The new Maccopy standard removable and Maccopy semi gloss products are both coated with the company’s HR51 general-purpose removable adhesive, which is claimed to provide excellent long-term removability from a wide variety of surfaces. The adhesive is protected with a semi-bleached lay flat liner specially selected for use in toner fusion and other non-impact printing applications.  

Expanding the Maccopy line with products featuring our removable adhesive allows our customers to expand their options when choosing the most appropriate label stock for their application,’ said Allison Hazel, marketing manager, Mactac Printing Products. ‘Although our Maccopy products are well established, we continue to enhance our offering.’

The new Maccopy standard removable product is a 50#, uncoated, flexible stock designed for excellent image quality and processing in most high-speed, mid-range, and continuous-feed toner fusion printers or roll-to-sheet applications. Its bright white facestock is specially engineered for toner fusion printers and has excellent opacity and first-read scan rates. This stock is suitable for a wide range of label applications, including asset and inventory tags, pricing, order picking, work-in-process, and retail products that require a general-purpose removable adhesive.

The Maccopy semi gloss removable is a white 60#, coated, high-strength litho paper stock with a semi-gloss finish. It is designed to run smoothly in a variety of high-speed, mid-range, and continuous-feed toner fusion printers, photocopiers and some desktop laser printers where caliper/basis weight constraints are not a concern. The Maccopy semi gloss removable product is suitable for applications that require excellent long-term removability, including toner fusion printed labels.
