Cross Grain has been developed with input from package designers seeking innovative appearances that make packages stand out on store shelves.

Metal FX Films LLC was launched in early 2014 by Jim Parker and Charlie Yetka, two long-term industry veterans with a combined 80 years of experience in the films industry, and operates out of a 16,000 sq ft facility.

Cross Grain metallized, brushed films were created using a proprietary process developed by Metal FX Films, and its unique look has the brushed lines going in both vertical and horizontal directions.

Sometimes thought of as a linen or crisscross pattern, this new offering is available in most standard web widths.

Cross Grain is the latest in a series of patterns in the Metal FX Films library, which includes RealSteel and BrightBrushed.
