Newly merged Aldus-Tronics to debut Mark Andy Digital One

Designed for short run prime labels, Mark Andy's Digital One press is set to debut in Australia at Melbourne PacPrint trade show in late May, shown by the newly merged Aldus-Tronics.

The new entrant will be presented as a simple, compact system combining four-color digital printing with in-line flexo converting and finishing.

The significance of its characteristics under the aegis of the new company reflects the blend of Aldus’ traditional strengths on the printing side with Tronics expertise in labeling and inkjet coding. Its substrate range includes pressure-sensitive stock (paper, BOPP, PET, PP), unsupported paper and tag stocks. Since no priming or coating is required, existing labelstock can be used.

The first of these presses has reportedly already been sold in Australia.
