NimCor introduces air chuck adapters

NimCor’s pneumatic air chuck adapters are claimed to be an economical alternative solution for converters when core shafts do not match a roll’s core size. Unlike wedge-type mechanical chucks, NimCor’s self-centering pneumatic air chuck adapters are ‘easily inserted and removed without damaging cores’, said the companay in a statement.

‘Air valves are easily changed without disturbing other chuck components. Chucks can also be pneumatically linked using an optional interconnecting air system to allow single-point inflation of multiple chucks in a single shaft setup. Air chuck adapters are readily available with or without core stop flanges to fit cores from 3 inches up to 16 inches in diameter,’ the statement continued.
