Spinnaker adds Microtak ultra removable adhesive

Spinnaker Coating has added Microtak, a microsphere acrylic adhesive that uses microsphere technology to provide long-term removability, repositionability and re-application on many substrates.

Microtak ultra removable adhesive is currently stocked with 44# CTT paper, Primeglos paper, 2mm Clear and 2.3mm White BOPP, and PrimeScan film. A direct thermal paper option will be launched in the coming months. 

Constructions are available Trimless with a minimum of one roll (3ft x 5,000in). Spinnaker Coating said this provides users with the ability to try these products on a smaller scale without having to order a full master. Joel Ulrich, Spinnaker Coating roll product manager, added: ‘Our customers have continued to ask us for this type of product, and we are excited to be able to offer it on a variety of facestocks.  It adds even more versatility to our removable product offerings.’

Common applications for Microtak are with glass, building supplies, corrugated board and others where repositionability or reapplication is desired.
