Spinnaker adds water-based inkjet products

Satin Matte Ink Jet Paper (#45772) and Gloss Ink Jet Paper (#45773) are both paired with an all-temperature adhesive, which offers versatility in application options, including cold temperature labeling. These papers excel at producing great color graphics and sharp text, Spinnaker Coating said, with wet-rub resistance and good ink adhesion.   

A film option for labeling durable goods, 5mm Matte White Ink Jet Polypropylene (#45696) is available with PDL-55, a general purpose permanent adhesive. It has a 12-month outdoor life, and is suitable for metal, plastics and other durable container applications, even with moisture present.  Application uses include: drum and barrel labels; pails, totes and chemical containers; outdoor ID labels; and horticultural, agricultural and farm labels. 

It is BS 5609 Part 2 and 3 certifiable (with the appropriate inks), and while designed for commercial water-based inkjet printing, it also accepts thermal transfer print for end-user variable information, such as serial numbers or dates. 

All three water-based inkjet constructions are available Trimless with a minimum of one roll 3in x 5,000ft.
