Trojan Color System introduces semi-rotary finishing system at Labelexpo Americas

Trojan Color Systems has launched its RC-1000 desktop semi-rotary label finishing system at Labelexpo Americas 2016.

 The Trojan RC-1000

‘With the growing success of digital color printing and shorter runs there is demand for reliable, easy to set-up and affordable high speed finishing,’ said Dennis Kallaher, vice president of sales for Trojan Color Systems. ‘The RC-1000 responds to the need for a quality finishing solution for commercial and in-plant printing operations.’

The RC-1000 has a simple paper path that makes set-up fast, uses less material and minimizes waste, says the company.

‘We give our users the flexibility to convert printed labels and produce blanks,’ said Kallaher. ‘Finger-tip control of lateral die position, air chucks, pinned die cylinder and the ability to save converting settings further our goal to make the RC-1000 easy to use and improve operator throughput.’

Also launched at the show is a new Turbo Charge upgrade for all Sohn Wizard label finishing systems.

The Sohn Wizard is a compact finishing system for commercial and in-plant printers. ‘Trojan Color Systems has placed many Wizards with our customers over the recent years. Our customers have universally asked for improvements in speed, larger cut lengths and improved ease of use,’ said Dennis Kallaher. ‘Our Turbo Charge upgrade accomplishes all three requests.

‘Current users will be amazed at the improvement in finishing speeds, up to three times faster, cut lengths up to 21 inches with an enhanced user interface and control system. You will finish jobs faster, which will free up the Wizard to be more productive and more profitable.’
