Nilpeter ME puts big value on Gulf Print & Pack presence

Press manufacturer Nilpeter’s Middle East operation has valued its presence at Gulf Print & Pack 2013 in the region of US$5 million, with seven leads picked up at the show and four AB Graphic machines sold.

Shyam Babu, managing director of Nilpeter ME, said the company had generated leads from across the Middle East, Africa and neighboring araes, and from the label and package printing markets.

‘I would value our presence at Gulf Print & Pack 2013 at around US$5 million. We have seen lots of interest in the products we offer, and in new applications we can help the market deliver as brands put more pressure on printers and converters to offer additional applications, as they’re used to getting in more established markets.’

AB Graphic appointed Nilpeter ME as its distributor for the region in March.

Babu said Nilpeter ME is working to become more of a partner to its printer customers in the region, similar to the company's global strategy, by offering more than just press technology and finishing equipment.

‘We get feedback from our customers that they like working with Nilpeter, and trust us as a partner, so want us to copy and paste what we do with one product set and provide other products that add value to their operations.’
