Omet details iFlex debut
Omet is to introduce the iFlex, its new label printing press, at an event at its headquarters in Lecco, Italy on May 19.
Omet said iFlex ‘ushers in a new era’ for narrow web printing with the first application of lasers in flexography.
The iFlex press is also characterized by further breakthrough technologies that simplify the printer’s work and optimize the press’ performance, Omet said.
The event will also see the introduction of the Varyflex V2 Offfset printing press for flexible packaging and carton applications.

This launch is one of many events being organized by Omet during the week of Converflex, which runs May 19-23 in Milan. Omet is to attend the show, and on May 20-22 will host an Open House at its plant in Lecco for customers who want to watch demonstrations of the iFlex, Varyflex V2 Offset and other machines in Omet’s range, such as the XFlex X6 and XFlex X4.
