Avery Dennison appoints VP sales for Roll Materials Europe

Avery Dennison has promoted Jeroen Diderich to the post of vice president, sales, for its Roll Materials Europe Division, based in Leiden, Netherlands.

In his new position, Diderich will work to optimize customer and sales service with the marketing, supply chain, and operations teams, both regionally and globally. He is responsible for driving profitable growth for Fasson labelstock in Europe, with particular reference to the emerging geographical markets, as well as for increasing the overall market share of self-adhesive labeling.

Diderich joined Avery Dennison in 2003 as director, supply chain, and was promoted to vice president, supply chain and operations, two years later. In recent years, he has been instrumental in implementing Enterprise Lean Sigma, for which he received an Avery Dennison Leadership Excellence Award in 2009; and – having brought divisional safety performance to a world class level – he was also recognized with a Leadership Excellence Award in 2008.

Diderich brings a wide portfolio of expertise and business experience to his new post, fulfilling increasingly senior roles in the paper industry, both in Europe and USA. He has also been involved in many initiatives in the paper, supply chain, and logistics arenas, and lectured part-time in business economics at ErasmusUniversity, Rotterdam, at which he studied for his degree in business economics with strategic marketing management.

Diderich succeeds Georges Gravanis, who has been promoted to vice president and general manager, Avery Dennison Roll Materials Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong, following four years as vice president, sales, for Avery Dennison Roll Materials Europe.
