Clondalkin Group appoints new managing director

Bernhard Jaggi has been appointed managing director of Clondalkin Group Company NYCO Flexible Packaging in Switzerland.

He commented: ‘It’s an exciting time to be joining such a forward thinking and ambitious group and I’m looking forward to leading NYCO. The company has a reputation for providing high quality, customized packaging solutions and we have the potential to further enhance this by fully developing its drive for operational excellence.’

Jaggi has held a number of senior level positions within the industry working across international markets, and was previously CEO of Sappi’s Papermill in Stockstadt, Germany.

Peter Scheffer, business unit director performance films and foils, at Clondalkin Group, said: ‘We welcome Bernhard to Clondalkin Group and look forward to benefiting from his expertise. His contribution will be vital as we build on our existing reputation for delivering innovative, high value-added packaging solutions.’

NYCO Flexible Packaging produces shrink sleeves, printed lids and reel fed material for the dairy, fresh foods, confectionery, beverage and pharmaceutical markets throughout Europe.
