CRG promotes Max Hayes to business development role

Max Hayes takes on expanded responsibilities in the release liner division at a Chicago-based manufacturer.

Channeled Resources Group (CRG) has promoted Max Hayes to business development and product manager of its liner division. The Chicago-based manufacturer announced the move on July 14, 2025, creating a new role that combines territory management with strategic product development responsibilities.

Hayes joined CRG in 2024 and has worked as part of both the label and liner sales teams. In his expanded position, he will maintain ownership of the Southeast territory while focusing on the company's growing release liner business across composite, medical and label sectors.

The promotion places Hayes in charge of strategic business development for release liners and gives him responsibility for key accounts supporting CRG's Maraliner division. He will continue serving as account manager for existing label clients while pursuing new opportunities in the liner market.

Hayes will also drive product innovation as part of his product management duties, including leading ROI analyses, developing go-to-market strategies and identifying new product lines and markets for CRG's liner offerings. The role includes project-based opportunities in procurement and operations to provide cross-functional experience.

'Max has been a key player on our team, and this promotion is a natural next step for someone with his drive and industry insight,' said Ginnie Gandy, sales manager, release liners at CRG. 'He's incredibly tuned in to our customer needs and brings a fresh perspective that will be instrumental as we expand our liner offerings and enter new markets.'

The promotion supports CRG's momentum in custom-engineered release liners as it continues expanding its liner business and entering new markets.
