Durst appoints new MD in France
Durst has appointed Antonio Castaño as the new managing director for its subsidiary Durst Image Technologie France SAS.

Castaño has held marketing and sales manager positions at the likes of Scitex, Indigo and NUR, now all divisions of HP, and from 2004 to 2011 for EFI Vutek as EMEA sales director, where he was in charge of the transnational business operations.
In 2011, Castaño, who speaks five languages, founded his own company, ILOOK and sold digital signage systems as digital platforms for marketing and information.
Castaño succeeds Luc Coruble, who is retiring from the company. Coruble was instrumental in establishing the French branch as an important section of Durst's internationalization strategy. Durst said Castaño's appointment signifies a ‘change of generation at Durst's management level’
Christoph Gamper, chief executive officer of Durst Phototechnik, said: ‘We sincerely appreciate Luc Coruble's successful work over the years and wish him all the best for his retirement. At the same time we would like to welcome Antonio Castaño to Durst.
‘We are very pleased to have found a reputable and experienced successor from the imaging industry, for this very important market.’
Castaño said: ‘Within a few years, inkjet technology has advanced tremendously. So for me, it doesn't really feel like I'm coming home, it's more like a rediscovery of an exciting world.’
