MPI names Lingo CEO
Longtime insider succeeds retiring Randy Kocher at MPI Label Systems.
MPI Label Systems has appointed Doug Lingo as CEO, succeeding Randy Kocher, who has recently retired after many years leading the company.
Lingo has spent more than 38 years with MPI, with a career that began in shipping. He has since worked in press operations, production coordination, plant management, general management, director of manufacturing and vice president of manufacturing, most recently as president of MPI's legacy business unit.
In those roles he has overseen manufacturing across multiple facilities, led major capital investments, strengthened quality systems and improved production efficiency. He has also mentored MPI leaders and supported strategic growth initiatives. His leadership philosophy centers on empowering people, fostering collaboration and building a culture of continuous improvement.
'Having spent my entire professional career with MPI, I am honored to serve as CEO and lead this exceptional organization into its next chapter. MPI's success has always been built on the dedication of our employees, the trust of our customers and the strength of our partnerships. I am grateful for Randy's leadership and the foundation he helped create, and I look forward to working with our team to continue delivering innovative products and outstanding value to the markets we serve,' said Lingo, CEO of MPI Label Systems.
MPI credited Kocher with guiding the company through significant growth and transformation while maintaining its commitment to quality, service and long-term customer relationships.
