Prime Graphics completes acquisition of Print Flex

Prime Graphics, a provider of innovative decorative packaging solutions, has acquired Print Flex, a privately-held flexographic printer and packaging converter located in Bensenville, Illinois. The transaction is a strategic purchase of a complementary business in the packaging sector, effectively doubling Prime Graphics’ capacity and increasing its capabilities.

‘Our acquisition of the Print Flex operation represents another significant step for us, increasing our presence in the dynamic packaging market and further expanding the platform from which we serve our customers,’ said Bill Hunter, president of Prime Graphics.  ‘The combined technologies, knowledge and experience of our two companies will allow Prime Graphics to continue to innovate and provide more cost-effective solutions to our customer’s packaging needs.’

Print Flex’s facility will remain operational through a short transition period, with key operational, customer support, sales personnel and equipment relocating to Prime Graphics’ Wood Dale, Illinois facility in early to mid September. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
