Smyth Companies names Scott Fisher as president

Fisher previously worked for Smyth Companies from 1990 to 1997.

Prior to rejoining Smyth Companies as president, Fisher served as chief operating officer of WS Packaging Group. He was instrumental in integrating more than 10 acquisitions during his 12 years with WS Packaging, leveraging synergies, developing leading edge technology and deploying sustainable competitive systems that differentiated the WS Packaging brand.  

His duties at Smyth Companies will include responsibility for all Smyth Companies’ sales, manufacturing sites and future acquisitions, and will report directly to John Hickey, chief executive officer of Smyth Companies.

Smyth Companies produces labels and packaging for customers operating in the health and beauty, food and beverage, and promotional markets.

Hickey said: ‘Scott has over 32 years of experience in the packaging industry and brings a broad understanding of all operational and sales aspects of the business.
