Loparex completes strategic recapitalization

The move reduces debt, improves liquidity and provides greater financial flexibility for Loparex.

Loparex, a release liner manufacturing company, has announced the closing of its comprehensive recapitalization, led by Monarch Alternative Capital and Atlantic Park, General Atlantic’s strategic capital franchise, with participation from additional investors and lenders.

The completed transaction strengthens Loparex’s balance sheet by reducing debt, improving liquidity and providing greater financial flexibility to support continued investment in the business and execution of
the company’s long-term growth strategy.

'Completion of this recapitalization is a significant step forward for Loparex and enhances our global leadership in the release liner industry,' said Rich Holder, CEO of Loparex. 'We appreciate the confidence shown by Monarch, General Atlantic and our other investors and lenders. We are entering this
next chapter better positioned to invest in innovation, operational excellence and growth while continuing to deliver for our customers around the world.'

The closing follows the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, including receipt of required regulatory approvals. Loparex’s customer and vendor relationships will continue normally, and its facilities remain focused on serving its global customer base.
