Pankaboard to open sales office in Germany

Pankaboard, a producer of high-substance cartonboards and specialty paper boards from Finland, is to open a new sales office in Frankfurt, and which will be responsible for all of the company’s business in Germany, as well as Austria and Switzerland.

The opening of Pankaboard Deutschland is part of Pankaboard’s business strategy to expand the company’s own sales organization, and will be fully operational as of December 2. Karton Konzept, the current Pankaboard sales agent in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, will cease representing the company by the end of November.

Pankaboard Deutschland managing director Ilkka Mutka said: ‘The target is to strengthen our local presence at one of our main market areas with own local resources dealing directly and closer to our clientele. The change highlights Pankaboard’s long-term commitment to existing and new customers in the region and enables us to offer even more tailored services to our clients.’

Norbert Spiegel has been appointed regional sales director of Pankaboard Deutschland.
