SMI Coated Products aids Indian villagers

SMI Coated Products has assisted a charity project undertaken by students from the Mumbai-based HR College of Commerce & Economics to provide solar energy to villages across Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Karnatka and Uttar Pradesh in India.

The SMI team provided financial support to provide solar panels and street lamps for two villages consisting of 49 households at Patil Pada and Ganeshbaug, 70km from Mumbai.
