Torraspapel to open central European logistics hub

Torraspapel, part of the Lecta Group, is to install a new machine at its plant in Almazán, Spain. The investment, totaling over 23 million euros, will include the opening of a logistics hub in central Europe.

The machine will double the plant’s self-adhesive material manufacturing capability and allow the company to offer new lines of hot-melt adhesives and film labelstocks.

With the opening of a logistics hub in the center of Europe, Torraspapel will be able to offer quick delivery times in the central and eastern European markets.

The developments are scheduled for mid-2012.
