Tailored Label awarded 'Best Place to Work' for second time

Tailored Label Products, a manufacturer of labels and die cut adhesives, has been named one of the Best Places to Work in Southeastern Wisconsin (small-size company award) by Milwaukee Magazine and The Management Resource Association. It is the second time Tailored Label has earned the recognition. The company also received a special award for ‘engaging’ employees.

Companies in consideration of the award are first required to fill out an extensive online survey consisting of 500 questions covering nine different categories: salary, training, turnover, benefits, perks, work-life balance, diversity, employee voice, and community involvement.

Tailored Label scored high enough on the first survey to qualify for the second step: having its employees complete confidential surveys. The employee surveys were scored and combined with the company surveys to get a final score. Tailored Label earned high scores in employee satisfaction, low turnover and community involvement.

‘We have high expectations for our employees, but we also recognize the importance of a family atmosphere and open lines of communication with management,’ said Mike Erwin, co-owner and president of Tailored Label Products. ‘We want our employees to know that we sincerely value their contributions.’
