Tekra named distributor for Sabic Innovative Plastics

Tekra Corporation, a worldwide supplier of engineered plastic films, has benn appointed distributor for the polycarbonate film products of SABIC Innovative Plastics in the United States and Canada.

Sabic Innovative Plastics manufactures Lexan, Valox and Ultem film products used in thousands of demanding applications worldwide – including automotive, healthcare, consumer electronics, packaging and telecommunications. Effective immediately, Tekra customers will have access to nearly 100 new polycarbonate products covering these main application areas:

• Clear graphic and optical films
• Electrical and electronic flame retardant films
• Specialty films, including Lexan SLX weatherable grades
• High performance coated films
