US converter installs Comexi flexo press

- Press installed at Sierra’s new state-of-the-art factory in Reno, Nevada
- Press to help Sierra achieve goals
US-based flexible packaging manufacturer Sierra Packaging & Converting has invested in a Comexi FPlus 2510 flexo press
Sierra manufactures printed flexible packaging for the food and snack industries, and operates from three facilities totaling 100,000 sq ft.
Products it offers include printed and unprinted 1-, 2- and 3-ply laminated films, paper and foil. The company also offers side seal bags, stand-up pouches, three-side seal pouches and center seam bags.
It serves markets throughout North, South and Central America, as well as the Caribbean, Europe and Asia.
This Comexi FPlus 2510 is a sleeved, gearless press that can achieve optimum printing speeds of 1,600ft/m and is designed for quick and easy changeover.
The FPlus 2510 is being installed at Sierra’s new state-of-the-art factory in Reno, Nevada, and the company sees it as part of its growth in the flexible packaging industry.
