Walter Dow honored as 'Converter of the year'

Walter Dow, founder and CEO of Dow Industries, was recently honored as ‘Converter of the Year’ by the Tag & Label Manufacturers Institute.

Dow, who founded his company in 1969, was honored for his long-time dedication to both TLMI and the tag and label industry. The award was sponsored by packagePRINTING Magazine.

Dow Industries operates two Massachusetts facilities, Dow Industries and Screenprint/Dow. Together, they occupy nearly 90,000 square feet with 29 presses and employ 160 employees.

Established more than 72 years ago, TLMI is a member-driven association that provides forums to address issues critical to the success of the narrow web, tag, label, packaging and converting industry of North America.
