Esko World 2026 to take place in New Orleans

Esko has announced that Esko World, the annual technology showcase that regularly attracts more than 500 visitors from around the globe, will take place in New Orleans in 2026. 

The event, now in its 35th year, will bring together packaging and labels converters, brand representatives and packaging experts, for an informative three days featuring a series of discussions that explore trends, shared obstacles, accomplishments and best practices across the industry. Hosted in New Orleans, Louisiana, the event – with the apt theme of ‘Jazz up your packaging’ - will take place from June 3-5 2026, at the Marriott Canal Street Hotel. 

‘Over the last three-and-half decades, Esko World has provided a platform for us to not only showcase our latest innovative solutions, but also to discuss, analyze and learn from the experiences of global brands and their packaging converters,’ said Esko marketing director Jan De Roeck. ‘This is always a highlight of our year, enabling us to discuss the issues affecting the industry and inspiring the solutions of tomorrow that will bring the greatest benefits by being integrated into existing workflows.’ 

Building on the successful introduction of sector-specific ‘tracks’ at last year’s Esko World - dedicated discussions, presentations and roadmap groups for packaging professionals by sector – the 2026 event will introduce new job-specific tracks. 

‘The new tracks can be pre-selected during registration based on job-type, with specific sessions and classes automatically added to an attendee’s agenda as soon as they are available,’ said De Roeck. ‘From design and optimization, digital flexo color and print, and packaging intelligence, through to graphics, prepress and product lifecycle - this year’s event will have something for everyone, wherever they work in the packaging supply chain,’ he said.  

‘And as always, sessions will cover every sector, from labels, flexibles and corrugated/folding carton conversion and premedia tradeshops through to CPG and life science brand owners.’ 

Esko World is technology-focused event for packaging professionals, renowned for providing visitors with a wide range of interactive learning opportunities, best practice techniques and training and educational workshops.
