Heidelberg adds AI chat to production analytics
Print Shop Analytics customers can now query production data in natural language.
Heidelberg has expanded its Heidelberg Portal with an AI Performance Chat feature, allowing print shops to query production metrics including overall equipment effectiveness, makeready times, productivity and waste using natural language, with results returned as tables, charts and written explanations.
The feature is now available worldwide to all Print Shop Analytics customers in more than 18 languages, building on the Insights App that Heidelberg has offered for around four years. Rather than navigating dashboards and filters, users can ask questions directly and receive answers in a conversational format.
Pilot users report significant time savings in preparing management reporting. '
