Esko leads way with mobile apps

EskoArtwork recently introduced its new mobile applications at its Users Conference in New Orleans. These incredible apps will certainly fill a communication void when it comes to remote job approval, benefiting both converter and brand. Esko is leading the way in which modern packaging development is completed.

WebCenter is Esko’s online platform for managing pre-production approval and project life cycles. After downloading the application, users are able to view and approve 3D files; and view, mark-up and approve CAD files, PDF files and image files with the high-resolution viewer.

With Studio Viewer, users are able to review 3D objects and spin them around. Until now, this was only possible using a PC; however, the ability has been updated to be used on mobile phones and tablets using simple finger movements. Studio Viewer is effective for viewing packaging mock-ups that have been designed with the Studio software from Esko. In this way, brand owners and retailers are able to view high-quality, realistic renderings of boxes, pouches, cans, bottles and so much more, including artwork and some print finishing effects.

The Webcenter app is available here; the Studio Viewer app is available here.

If your company is exhibiting at Labelexpo Americas 2012 and has a mobile application to streamline label converting and printed packaging workflow, please email information to danielle@labelsandlabeling.com.
