Cyclone's disastrous impact on Australian printers
A major cyclone which this week hit Australia's north east coast has had a disastrous impact on several Queensland printers, flooding premises, damaging plant and leaving businesses without power.

Tagged as Cyclone Debbie, the storm which hit the north coast of Queensland has forced several print shops to cease operations, leaving printers in the region such as Macprint in Mackay and Graphic House in Cannonvale without power, dealing with floodwaters and damaged plant. In some areas, owners have been unable to access their premises due to heavy flooding.
While power is slowly being resumed to many areas, many print premises are reported as being impacted by severe building damage such as roof and structural damage. Power failures in the hard hit Bowen area resulted in several printers there unable to be contacted.
