Nuova Gidue sells M3 Digital Flexo to Australian printer

The M3 Digital Flexo was demonstrated by Nuova Gidue as part of its presence in the Package Printing Workshop feature area at Labelexpo Europe 2013.

Digital Flexo is Nuova Gidue’s concept to automate the flexo printing process by digitally assisting the operator in setting up the press.  

It is able to handle unsupported films, pressure-sensitive labels and special substrates, as well as more traditional labelstocks.

The M3 to be installed by Wagner has an 370mm width, eight UV flexo printing stations, and the Digigap technology for automated die-cutting pressure, pre-register and register.

Eddie Gulmen from Gulmen Engineering , Nuova Gidue’s Australian distributor, said: ‘This combination press is designed for flexible packaging and films as low as 20 microns for short, medium and long runs.

‘It is a very, very nice machine and we are going  to install it in Sydney shortly. The owner John Galea of Wagner Labels is ecstatic at the latest technology innovation Nuova Gidue has developed and cannot wait until the machine is in production.’
