S.Kumar installs Zonten trio
S.Kumar Multi Products, a distributor for China-based Zonten label printing and converting equipment, has installed three Zonten flexo label presses in the last two months.
Two installs have been concluded in Mumbai, India and one in Nairobi, Kenya. All three companies have ordered a six-color UV flexo label printing Zonten press with cold foil along with an off-line die-cutting machine and slitter rewinder.
The Label House based out of Mumbai is an offset printing company and has diversified into label printing to target pharmaceutical and personal healthcare companies. Shreepack Containers, a mono-cartons manufacturers from Mumbai, chose to target pharmaceutical and pesticide industry with the press.
Dot Printer, a Nairobi based offset printer, also ordered the same press to print labels for mainly the food, pharmaceutical and healthcare segments. It has, in addition, also installed an auto inspection machine. This is Zonten’s second installation in Kenya.
Zonten and S. Kumar also provide high-precision engineering, aftersales support and training. S. Kumar has installed more than 40 Zonten RY320 and LRY320 flexo presses, 100 MQ320 die-cutting machines and 150 FQ320 slitter-rewinders in India.
