Zonten launches Smart-420 label press

Chinese manufacturer Zhejiang Zhongte Machinery Technology (Zonten) has launched Smart-420, a multi-functional label press allowing the combination of multiple printing processes to meet the requirements of different applications.

Smart-420 can be specified with 4-12 color printing units, and offers a printing area of 410 x 635mm with a printing speed of 150m/min

Smart-420 features shaftless drive technology, an automatic alignment system and a pre-register system. It can be specified with 4-12 color printing units, and offers a printing area of 410 x 635mm with a printing speed of 150m/min. Substrate thicknesses that be handled can range from 0.04mm (thin film) to 0.35mm (paper), so allowing printing on most label materials.

Lin Xiaoyu, general manager of Zhongte, noted: ‘The greatest improvement is a modular design that allows the combination of multi printing methods. Every unit can switch among offset, flexo and silk printing, cold stamping, glossing and laminating, etc, to meet the requirements of different printed products.’
