Amcor appoints Roelof Westerbeek as Flexibles Asia Pacific president

Amcor has appointed Roelof Westerbeek as president of its Flexibles Asia Pacific business.

Westerbeek will take up his new role with Amcor on March 15, and will be based in Singapore

Westerbeek is joining Amcor from Royal DSM, where he has held a number of leadership positions over a 27-year career. Since 2008, he has been president of DSM Engineering Plastics, a global business supplying products and materials to the automotive, electronics and food packaging industries. Prior to this role, he served as business unit president of DSM Engineering Plastics Asia Pacific. During his career at DSM, Westerbeek has worked and lived in Asia for 15 years.

Westerbeek will take up his new role with Amcor on March 15, and will be based in Singapore.

Ralf Wunderlich, the president of Amcor Flexibles Asia Pacific for the last six years, has decided to leave Amcor to pursue other career interests.
