UK used press dealers benefitting from declining Australian dollar
The declining Australian dollar is boosting used press sales by British suppliers, providing strong competition to the local dealer community.

West Yorkshire based used printing machinery dealer White Horse Machinery has reported several presses bought and sold to Australia and New Zealand since mid-2015.
It is creating a difficult environment for local used machinery suppliers who find their market drying up due to price structures able to be offered by their UK counterparts difficult to match.
White Horse Machinery’s success comes on the heels of some UK used dealers such as DPM which has been operating in Australia for many years while a number of others, such as White Horse, are new to the market, having expanded into Australia from its UK base this year.
