Kerridge has accrued over 30 years of experience in senior positions, including at Benson Group, CPC Group, Alusuisse Lonza Group and Laura Ashley. During his tenure at Benson Group, Kerridge lead the business from a 10 million GBP (13 million USD) turnover to the eventual sale to Graphic Packaging International with a 120 million GBP (159 million USD) sales revenue in 2014.

The appointment of Kerridge as non-executive director at Americk Packaging follows that of Josephine Morgan as group retail director and the recent expansion of the group’s Flexibles division, with the dedicated fresh produce packaging site in Haydock moving to an 80,000 sq ft facility in Wigan.

Americk Packaging operates six locations, expects to hit 140 million EUR (156 million USD) in sales revenue this year, and is continually releasing new products and innovations to a variety of sectors. One recent development has been a web-fed paper label product for the beverage market as an alternative to standard synthetic substrates, and detailed here. Key customers operate in the beverage, food, dairy, household, healthcare, pet care and horticulture markets.

Americk Packaging CEO Patrick Doran commented: ‘Our focus is now to bring all our operations under a single brand identity in order to capitalize on our strengths and collective expertise, ultimately adding value to our growing customer base throughout Europe.

‘I am extremely pleased Mark is joining Americk Packaging as his knowledge and experience will be invaluable as we continue on our path to growth.’
