Bixolon launches desktop label printers in Europe

Bixolon Europe has announced the European launch of three new desktop label printer models: the XD7-20d, XD7-20d-H and XD3-40d-H, targeting manufacturing, logistics, retail and healthcare environments.

The XD7-20d is a 2-inch desktop label printer delivering print speeds of up to 8 inches per second at resolutions of 203 or 300 DPI. It features a 4.3-inch color touch LCD, adjustable print head pressure and connectivity options including USB, serial, Ethernet, WLAN and Bluetooth.

The XD7-20d-H and XD3-40d-H are healthcare-specific variants designed for clinical environments, featuring IEC 60601-1 compliant power supplies for safe operation in patient-facing spaces, disinfectant-ready antimicrobial casings and UV-resistant enclosures built to withstand sterilization protocols. Target applications include specimen labeling, pharmacy dispensing, asset management and patient ID wristbanding.
