Colordyne named Xaar Versatex distributor

Xaar has appointed Colordyne Technologies as official North American distributor for the Xaar Versatex Printbar, giving label, packaging and converting operations across the region access to sales, service and support for the in-line digital embellishment system.

The Versatex Printbar is designed for turnkey in-line integration into existing analog presses, finishing lines and converting equipment, adding digital embellishment and functional print capability without replacing production assets. Available in varnish, white and variable data black options, it supports spot varnish, high-build gloss, matte textures, cold foil, high-opacity white, braille, black variable data and personalization applications.

The partnership builds on Colordyne's existing portfolio of retrofit full color digital engines, with Versatex adding embellishment and functional print capability to its North American offering. Colordyne plans to establish sales, service, demonstration and sampling capabilities for the Versatex Printbar at its Brookfield, Wisconsin facility.
