FPA elects emerging leadership council

Flexible Packaging Association elects co-chairs and vice-chairs for next generation program.

The Flexible Packaging Association has announced the 2026 leaders of its Emerging Leadership Council, with Alana Carr of Hosokawa Alpine American continuing as co-chair alongside newly elected co-chair James Rosenberger, product manager for sustainable solutions at Charter Next Generation.

Two new vice-chairs have also been appointed. Kimberly Weiss, director of sales and marketing at Glenroy, takes on the vice-chair role for the ELC Advocacy Committee, and John England, territory manager for converter films at Berry Converter Films, has been appointed vice-chair of the ELC Education and Recruitment Committee.

The 2026 council includes 28 members drawn from across the US flexible packaging value chain, spanning converters, suppliers and equipment manufacturers.

Key programs for the year include a summer internship program, expanded site visits and the FlexPack Crash Course at PACK EXPO International.

'We're ready to build on that foundation as we execute another impactful year of programs,' said Rosenberger. 'I'm energized by the passion and fresh perspectives the new group brings.'

'The ELC continues to grow as a collaborative, forward-thinking group of leaders,' added Carr. 'I look forward to working alongside both new and returning members as we advance key initiatives that will strengthen the future of our industry.'
