Label King opens new Salt Lake City facility

Label King’s August 28 open house welcomed customers, staff and local businesses with food, fun and a preview of its expanded Utah site.

Label King, a label manufacturer headquartered in San Diego, California, US, has officially opened the doors to its new Salt Lake City, Utah location with a festive community-focused open house.

The August 28 event brought together customers, employees, and local businesses for a day of fun, food, education, and a first look at Label King’s expanded operations in Utah.

The Grand Opening kicked off with a prayer and ceremonial ribbon cutting, followed by guided tours of the new facility. Guests enjoyed a catered lunch from local favorite Miss Essie’s BBQ, played retro Nintendo games, donned paper Label King crowns, and even posed with a throne constructed entirely from corrugated board.

Label King showcased its printing and converting capabilities throughout the day and even ran a label job for Salsa Queen, another Utah-based, family-owned brand.

‘Having local family-owned companies like Miss Essie’s BBQ and Salsa Queen involved with the grand opening was really important to us,’ said Adam Peek, king of the mountain for Label King’s new Salt Lake City outpost. ‘We want the Utah community to know that we are here to support and service local brands and businesses of all kinds.’

Peek added: ‘The expansion of the Label Kingdom here will always be about people and creating great jobs for the Salt Lake City community.’

More than 60 people attended the event, and they went home with custom, Label King-branded socks from Hippy Feet, as well as freeze-dried packets from Salsa Queen.

The new facility underscores Label King’s customer-centric approach and represents a major step forward for the company, enabling expanded production and enhanced customer service across the region.

Robert Parker, Label King’s founder and president, was on hand at the grand opening, and together with Peek cut the ceremonial ribbon. He said: ‘Being able to make such a quick impact in the Salt Lake City area has been amazing, and we’re looking forward to continuing our growth and helping the local community. I am truly excited about the future of Label King.’
