Young People in Print expands to packaging

UK industry group broadens remit with rebrand and restructured board.

Young People in Print has rebranded as Young People in Print and Packaging, reflecting a wider remit across both the print and packaging industries following feedback from across the sector calling for greater clarity and inclusivity.

The rebrand introduces a new logo and is accompanied by the development of a new website and updated industry materials. The organization's board is also being restructured to bring in broader representation from across print and packaging, with new appointments to be announced in due course.

'This rebrand is a natural evolution for us,' said Kelvin Bell, sales director at Vpress and board member of Young People in Print and Packaging. 'The industry has told us clearly that print and packaging go hand in hand, and it's vital that we reflect that. Our focus remains on inspiring and supporting young people to explore the wide range of opportunities available across both sectors.'

The organization has an active program planned for 2026, including open house events at print and packaging sites, attendance and speaking at Fespa in Barcelona and the creation of a promotional video for companies to use in talent attraction.
