Xeikon launches TX300 digital press with Titon technology
The new toner platform eliminates the need for varnish on food-safe labels.

Xeikon has unveiled the TX300 narrow-web digital press powered by its Titon toner technology, marking the evolution of the company's dry toner platform from flexible packaging applications to mainstream label production.
The newly launched press offers converters a varnish-free approach to creating durable, food-safe labels on coated and uncoated papers as well as polypropylene facestocks.
'Titon is ready to change label production,' stated Frank Jacobs, senior product manager at Xeikon. 'Printing companies can eliminate the often cumbersome varnishing step in their production workflow.'
The TX300 will make its debut at Labelexpo Europe 2025 in Barcelona, where live demonstrations will showcase how Titon technology removes compromises between durability and compliance. Early adopters who have transferred jobs from UV inkjet-based presses to the TX300 report that prints are durable without varnish, feature an elegant matte look and deliver outstanding quality on paper substrates.
Built on Xeikon's legacy in dry toner innovation, Titon technology delivers UV inkjet resilience combined with dry toner regulatory confidence. The technology offers composition compliance and migration technical compliance for food applications while maintaining operational stability at 30m/min.
Titon toner technology addresses increasing pressure from brand owners and regulators for labels that are scratch-, heat-, solvent- and friction-resistant without extra coating steps, while remaining compatible with recyclable, paper-based materials and PP facestocks.
Xeikon will participate in The Label Trail at Labelexpo Europe, a six-booth journey featuring eight partners that demonstrates how the label ecosystem is evolving through sustainability, smart production and end-to-end integration.
