Kurz Scribos supports BMW Group against counterfeiting

In response, a technology developed under the Kurz Scribos brand has been introduced in collaboration with the BMW Group, specifically designed to protect original spare parts.

In close cooperation, the team behind Kurz Scribos products and the BMW Group launched a digitally verifiable hologram strip. This technology integrates Kurz holographic security to provide a high level of protection. The digitally verifiable hologram strip will help safeguard the BMW Group’s extensive global spare parts network, which includes more than 40 million parts in circulation. This high-security feature can only be verified by trained experts using a dedicated authentication app, ensuring an additional layer of protection against counterfeiting.

This product combines holographic security with digital verification, ensuring that their parts can only be authenticated by trained experts. Key features include its high-security holographic technology, incorporating Kurz’s foil materials for maximum protection; optical effects, which shift under specific lighting conditions, making unauthorized reproduction impossible; multi-layered security elements, including microtext and covert markers, detectable only with expert verification tools; and integration with a dedicated authentication app, ensuring that only authorized professionals can confirm authenticity.

Designed exclusively for expert use, this security technology adds a new layer of protection against counterfeiters, making it impossible for them to replicate or manipulate the verification process.
