Chennai-based Pioneer Arunachalam Packaging has installed three customized Rhyguan Smart-450 slitting and rewinding systems with integrated Luster LabelMaster 450 inspection units, alongside a DYM combination comprising a SACD-450P automatic turret rewinder, HAU-450 automatic butt-splicing unwinder and NAC-450 automatic waste matrix removal system, all supplied and installed by Flexo Image Graphics of Delhi.
The investment is intended to increase self-adhesive label production capacity and improve inspection and workflow efficiency to support the company's growing digital printing operations. Pioneer Arunachalam purchased its first Rhyguan slitter rewinder from FIG around three years ago and began its relationship with the distributor in 2009 with a Mark Andy label press.
'The recent purchase of multiple machines is primarily for strengthening the constant increase in our production capacity, particularly in the self-adhesive domain,' said Arun Tenzing, director of Pioneer Arunachalam Packaging. 'We have chosen the DYM combo to save on machine downtime and simplify workflows. Our initial impression of the machine's performance is positive.'
Founded in 1994, Pioneer Arunachalam manufactures PVC shrink bottle labels and self-adhesive labels for liquor, FMCG and pharmaceutical customers across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala.
