Taghleef Industries to turn film innovation into art at Labelexpo Europe

The company will highlight the powerful convergence of science, sustainability and design.

Taghleef Industries has been preparing for a strategic repositioning that extends beyond materials and specifications at this year’s edition of Labelexpo Europe.

Instead of a traditional showcase, the company will highlight the powerful convergence of science, sustainability, and design, inviting the industry to explore innovation as an experience.

Taghleef will feature the reDesign Wall: a curated display of the latest success stories in label film development. This area will showcase what’s possible when materials are chosen with intent, from biobased and bio-attributed polymers that reduce dependency on fossil fuels, to materials incorporating post-consumer recycled (PCR) content. This includes both mechanically and chemically recycled PCR, with the latter produced under the ISCC PLUS certification scheme using a mass balance approach. Also featured will be materials designed for enhanced recyclability or circular end-of-life pathways.

Taghleef Industries will also unveil three new films, marking its entry into new market segments. Rather than presenting them in a conventional format, the company will display each as a work of art, emphasizing the value of thinking differently when developing next-generation materials.

The company will launch Shape360 TDSW, a white film for TD shrink sleeve labels, specifically developed for light-sensitive products, representing a major step forward in functionality and sustainability. Also on display will be the new in-mold labeling (IML) film, which promises to disrupt traditional in-mold labeling and offers a viable option for the future of this technology. Lastly, the visitors will be able to see a new decorative film substrate that paves the way for new design approaches and applications in specialty and creative markets.

Ambra Stocco, European marcom manager and label lead at Taghleef Industries, commented: ‘The evolving EU regulatory environment is not a limitation; it’s an invitation to innovate more boldly. These films represent not just product advancements, but a new mindset around what labeling and packaging solutions can achieve.’
