Ultimate Tech, a provider of imposition, nesting and finishing automation technology, is for the first time exhibiting at Labelexpo Europe, taking place in Barcelona from September 16-19 in Barcelona. The company will be presenting at booth L85.

Ultimate Tech develops software designed for automated, flexible and on demand workflows. As label printers struggle with higher numbers of varying SKUs, shorter runs and customer demand for sustainable practices, end-to-end workflow automation enables faster turnaround times, less manual labour and increased consistency in quality.

Ultimate Impostrip is a print software technology for imposition, step and repeat, nesting and ganging, and Ultimate Tech will be showing its newly developed label optimization technology including LaneFlow, Smart Roll and tools to automate the generation of Print Marks and Dynamic Barcode content on the fly with no manual intervention. Ultimate Impostrip can take jobs from an ordering system to process them in a fully automated and optimized process.

Moreover, Ultimate Impostrip can seamlessly manage dynamic label runs, including the generation of the print PDF, and the cut and embellishment files for finishing to automate setup up time throughout production.

Ultimate Impostrip is also suitable for complex work like extended content labels and RFID label workflows with ease of connectivity to upstream systems such as managements systems and workflow systems and can easily tie into a customer’s existing environment.

'In today’s fast-paced world, faced with labor shortages and rising costs, label printers, adhesives and packaging manufacturers need to look differently at their workflow tools, especially to maximize the production of labels on digital presses, utilizing dynamic finishing options,' said Julie Watson, Ultimate Tech CEO. 'Looking ahead, the future of label printing lies in intelligent automation, data-driven workflow and AI. As the variation of incoming jobs expands, the ability to adapt layout strategies in real time, with no manual interventions, will define the next generation of label production.'
