Color-Logic, developer of the Process Metallic Color System, provided the door prize passport booklet at the June 2011 HOW Design Live conference in Chicago. The passport booklet, featuring a metallic image printed using the Color-Logic process, enabled HOW Conference participants to qualify for a drawing by visiting 16 sponsors at the exhibition and having their passport stamped. Attendees completing the passport were eligible for a drawing for gift cards donated by Apple.

Also at the conference, Color-Logic announced new tutorial materials and software capabilities for graphic designers. Color-Logic’s chief technology officer Richard Ainge, himself a graphic designer, said: ‘At the 2011 HOW Design Live conference, graphic designers participated in a Color-Logic seminar where they learned the ease with which metallic images can be produced. Images created using the Color-Logic system may be printed using offset lithography, flexography, digital devices including wide-format machines, and screen printing.’
